WATCH: The K-Word Incident That Happened at a Pietermaritzburg School (video)

June 7, 2017

Renaldo Gouws has released a new video in which he discusses the most recent K-word incident. This is what he has to say about it:

It’s quite sad that we find ourselves having to listen to a 17 year old girl, from Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High, use such a terrible word to describe a black person. My latest video talks on the K-Word incident that took place. Be sure to share if you agree… and please, I don’t want to hear the “But nothing happens to them argument”. I fight both sides of the racist coin. Let’s not excuse one side of racism because the media fails to report on the other side.

And here is another discussion about the incident from Sibu MpanzaSA who is also an up and coming YouTuber in South Africa.

That is disgusting, I thought South Africa was past that already. I cringe when I hear that word. And BTW I’m 69 years old and was brought up in the dark years of apartheid and still find Racism offensive. Thank you for bringing this to everyone’s attention.

Truly disgusting – she sounds like a little spoilt twit who needs a slap. Actually as a white person I often do not know how to pronounce an African person’s name an d then I will ask them how to pronounce it correctly (and often I still don’t get it right:-) and often people, White, African and Coloured get my name wrong too and I have been called some interesting names before – all that had me in stitches!! Grow up little girl and have some respect!
